Bodhi - IN FOSTER HOME

Bodhi is a bright, young pup who came to us as a stray, though we suspect he might have had a home before. He's currently in a foster home, thriving and learning all the things he needs to be a wonderful companion. His foster mom, who is also a trainer, says he's incredibly smart and has already mastered potty training and commands like "sit." He's also playful and gets along well with dogs who are up for a game! Bodhi has a good recall and is eager to please, making training a rewarding experience.

Ideal Home

Bodhi needs an active household that can keep up with his high energy and provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. A home that enjoys dog sports, training, or has ample space for him to run would be ideal. He is NOT a couch potato and would not be a good fit for a home seeking a low-key companion. Due to his size and boundless energy, homes with very small children might not be the best fit, as he could unintentionally knock them over. Absolutely NO CATS for Bodhi, as he has a very high prey drive and will chase and try to bite them.

Ongoing Health

Bodhi is currently healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Bodhi is not yet crate trained and becomes distressed if left alone for more than a couple of hours. He also barks non-stop if crated at night. He requires an owner who can dedicate time daily to his training, exercise, and mental stimulation to prevent destructive behaviors. He needs a job to do to fulfill his high drive!
