Meet Daphne, a sweetheart who is truly one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet! Since joining us, she’s been learning so much. While she wasn’t initially potty or crate trained, this adaptable girl now barks or scratches at the door to go out and is becoming much more comfortable in her kennel at night. Daphne is a "bouncy, trouncy" girl who is just so excited to be alive! She’s very affectionate and loves giving kisses. We’re currently working on her impulse control—like jumping or nipping when she’s happy—and she has already made wonderful progress. She would thrive with a patient family and gentle kids who are excited to continue her training. She gets along great with her foster dog siblings and loves playing or running in the yard. Daphne is a big fan of fetch with tennis balls and frisbees, and she loves her chew bones! Because of her high prey drive and energy, she’ll need a home with a fenced yard and no small pets or cats. Daphne is excellent in the car and does well with alone time in her crate. She already knows "sit" and "wait," and with a little more practice on her leash manners, she’ll be a star. We are so proud of her journey and can't wait for her to find a forever home where her joyful spirit can shine!
Ideal Home
Daphne would thrive with a patient family and gentle kids who are excited to continue her training. She needs a home with a fenced yard and no small pets or cats due to her high prey drive and energy.
Ongoing Health
All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Daphne is working on her impulse control, like jumping or nipping when she's happy, and has made wonderful progress. She would benefit from continued practice on her leash manners.
