🖤 Meet Shadow 🖤

Shadow is a 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a loving heart and a playful personality. Through no fault of her own, Shadow has found herself back at the shelter after being returned for a second time. Her previous adopters cared about her, but ultimately realized they couldn't provide the amount of space and structure she needs to thrive. Shadow is an affectionate girl who loves people and enjoys spending time with her family. She does well with children and gets along with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for the right home. However, she is not a fan of cats and would do best in a cat-free household. Because Shadow has some separation anxiety, she will need a home that understands her needs. She does best with plenty of room to run and play, and if she is inside while her family is away, she should be safely crated. A home with a secure yard or a family committed to providing lots of exercise would be ideal for this active girl.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is heartworm negative, spayed, and current on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shadow has some separation anxiety and would benefit from a home that can provide structure and positive reinforcement. Crate training is recommended when she is left alone indoors.
