Meet Shelly! Shelly is a one-year-old, spayed female Staffie mix who currently weighs around 60lbs. She's a delightful ball of energy who is looking for an adventure buddy to share her life with! Shelly loves to hike and go for long walks, and she'd probably make a fantastic running partner. After she's had her fun, she's ready to settle down for some serious snuggles and attention. She hasn't met any children yet, but due to her excitement around people, older, dog-savvy kids would be best. Shelly lived with two male Mastiffs and did wonderfully, but she can be a bit particular with female dogs. For this reason, we recommend Shelly be the only dog in the home. We don't have any information about her history with cats.
Ideal Home
Shelly would love an active home where she can go on adventures and get plenty of exercise. She's looking for a family who can give her lots of love and attention. Due to her excitement and history, Shelly would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children and should be the only pet in the household.
Ongoing Health
Shelly is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Shelly is a goofy girl who is working on her basic manners but is a quick learner! She already knows "sit" and enjoys giving her paw for treats. She is house-trained and will tap the door with her paw when she needs to go outside. Shelly also does well in her kennel.
