Tackle

Tackle is a 2-year-old, mixed-breed, low-rider dude who was rescued from a hoarding case. He can be a bit shy at first, but with patience, time, treats, and repetition, he warms up beautifully! Tackle loves playing at doggy daycare and is a "dog's dog," meaning he requires a canine companion in his forever home to help him gain confidence. He's incredibly food-motivated, with his favorite treat being a Kong filled with peanut butter. Tackle has a wonderful personality and truly wants to bond with and please his owner.

Ideal Home

Tackle would do best in a home with older children or adults who have prior dog experience, as his shyness means his first instinct when scared is to hide. He absolutely needs a doggy companion to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Tackle is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tackle is house-trained. With his desire to please, patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him continue to build confidence.
