Phil

Phil and Lil are two sweet pups who were found abandoned. We estimate they're around a year and a half old and appear to be Australian Shepherd mixes.

Phil is the more confident of the two. He's still shy and needs a little time to warm up, but with patience and plenty of treats, he begins to show his gentle, affectionate side. Once he realizes you're safe, you can see how much he wants to trust and connect. Phil is a very sweet boy at heart, just a little unsure of the world right now. Lil is having a harder time adjusting to shelter life. When people pass by her kennel, she often bolts to the outside area because she feels overwhelmed and uncomfortable. It's clear she hasn't had much human interaction in her short life, and everything still feels very new and scary to her. Lil is a very special girl who will need a very patient and understanding family, someone willing to move at her pace and give her the time she needs to feel safe.

Ideal Home

Both Phil and Lil will need a lot of catch-up when it comes to socialization. New experiences, new people, and everyday life are things they're still learning about.

These pups need patient families, gentle encouragement, and positive experiences to help them grow in confidence and blossom into wonderful companions. They need someone willing to believe in them and help show them the world isn't such a scary place.
