Meet Kai, a delightful 4-year-old spayed shepherd mix who weighs 47 pounds. She's a bundle of joy with a heart as big as her zoomies, currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Kai is a social butterfly, greeting the world with enthusiasm and eager to make friends with dogs of all sizes and people of all ages. She loves to play, run, and chase, often with a happy bark of excitement, and also enjoys keeping herself entertained with toys. Kai is the perfect companion for an active household, and after playtime, she's happy to relax for pets and snuggles.

Kai would thrive in an active household that can match her playful spirit. While she's done beautifully with children and loves their affection, she can become a little nervous during loud noises or storms, though she settles well with reassurance.

Kai is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when she sees another dog, as she's just excited to make a new friend. She rides well in the car and can be left out unattended, though crating is recommended for any new dog as they acclimate.
