His emotional intelligence allows him to read the room and other dogs with ease.

Ideal Home

Walter is looking for a feline-free sanctuary. He would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who enjoys playtime but also appreciates a good nap. He doesn't need a massive yard to stay happy, as he's a pro on the leash and content with neighborhood strolls.

Ongoing Health

Walter is a German Shepherd Mix. All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which covers vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Walter is already crate trained and potty trained, making his transition into your home a breeze. He's a dream in the car and an expert leash walker. He is also dog-social and knows how to politely ask for space when needed.

• The adoption fee is $1,200.00, with an additional $87 surcharge for transportation.

Transporation

Walter is currently in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
