Alphonse

Alphonse is a charming Border Collie mix with an outgoing personality and the boundless energy and sharp intelligence you'd expect from his breed! He and his brother, Edward, were found abandoned but have joined our Connecticut Rescue, showing no obvious signs of trauma from their difficult start. Alphonse's DNA reveals he's primarily a Border Collie, though several other breeds contributed to his unique makeup, giving him that classic Collie look. He has an electric personality and is athletic, making him a fantastic candidate for an experienced Working Breed adopter who is ready to continue his training and socialization.

Ideal Home

Alphonse would thrive in an active family with older children who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs. He can also happily join a home with other playful, older dogs and tolerant cats, as he shows great chemistry with them and is playful himself.

Alphonse is in excellent health, fully vaccinated, and dewormed.
