Meet Anakin ❤️

Anakin is an almost seven-year-old Retriever mix with a big heart and so much love to give. He's looking for a new beginning after spending the last six years with a family. Through no fault of his own, he has found himself back in rescue, and our hearts break for him. Anakin is a wonderful boy who listens well and is kennel trained. He loves being with his humans, giving big kisses, soaking up neck scratches, and playing with his toys. He'll happily chase a toy, but don't expect him to bring it back! He does enjoy a good game of tug-of-war, though.

Ideal Home

Anakin has been around young children and, as long as they are respectful of him, we believe he'll do well. He has never shown aggression toward people. He can be selective with other dogs, so proper introductions and the right match will be important.

Ongoing Health

Before adoption, Anakin will be visiting our veterinarian to get caught up on his vaccinations and other routine care. His teeth will also be evaluated to see if he needs a dental.

Training & Support

Anakin had training when he was younger and listens well. He is kennel trained and seems comfortable in his kennel.

Anakin is located in Adams County, Pennsylvania. We are able to transport to surrounding states for approved adopters.
