Meet Arlo! This handsome 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees weighs in at 78 pounds and is a fluffy, loving companion with an amazing temperament. Arlo is a gentle giant with a heart of gold, known for being affectionate and easygoing. He thrives when he's spending time with his favorite people, whether that's cuddling up, making new furry friends, or charming everyone he meets with his sweet disposition. Arlo is house-trained and incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a joy. He enjoys outdoor adventures just as much as he loves lounging at your feet, serving as the world's fluffiest rug. Just a friendly heads-up from experience: keep your steak out of reach, because Arlo is stealthy, patient, and smart enough to make it his if given the chance!
Ideal Home
Arlo would be happiest in a home where he can be a cherished member of the family and receive all the love and attention he deserves. He enjoys food, walks, and cuddles. Arlo can get nervous around loud, unexpected noises like fireworks or backfiring cars, but everyday household sounds like the vacuum or blender don't bother him.
Ongoing Health
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
Training & Support
Arlo is food-motivated and house-trained. A word of caution: he has a knack for stealing unattended food, so keep tempting treats safely stored away!

- The adoption fee for Arlo is $500. This fee helps cover a portion of his medical services and enables us to continue rescuing animals in need.
- Completing an adoption application helps us get to know your family and assess if Arlo would be a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt.
- Due to the high volume of applications some animals receive, we may not be able to contact every applicant. If your application is a good fit for Arlo, or another pet, a volunteer will reach out as soon as possible.
