Zalia

Zalia is a sweet and energetic 10-month-old pitbull mix who has made incredible progress since arriving at our shelter. She was unfortunately mislabeled as aggressive due to a lack of proper socialization and training in her younger days. Zalia has so much love to give and is eager to be a devoted companion to the right family. Once she trusts you, she absolutely adores human affection and is a truly wonderful friend. She's a bit of a talker, often expressing her excitement with cute, low howls and whines.

Ideal Home

Zalia is a high-energy girl who needs an experienced owner who understands the breed and is committed to her ongoing training and socialization. A home with older children only would be best due to her youthful exuberance.

Ongoing Health

Zalia is a healthy 50 lb pup with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Zalia needs continued practice with basic training and socialization. She can jump and nip out of excitement, so positive reinforcement and consistent guidance will be key to her success. We highly recommend professional training to help her continue to develop her manners. She is learning to be calm around other animals, but her playful energy can sometimes get the best of her.
