Celeste

Meet Celeste, a sweet 1-year-old female Chihuahua mix who is a true survivor! She came to us from a difficult hoarding situation involving 50 dogs, but despite her challenging beginnings, Celeste is blossoming every day. Weighing just 8 lbs, she can be a little shy at first, but once she feels secure, she transforms into the most affectionate lap dog imaginable. Celeste adores being close to her humans and soaking up all the love and attention. Her adorable little face and sweet "smile" are sure to bring joy to her forever family.

Ideal Home

Celeste would thrive in a patient and quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence. Because she can still be startled by sudden movements and loud noises, a home without small children would be ideal. She finds comfort in the presence of other dogs and would do best in a home with at least one canine companion to show her the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Celeste is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Celeste is house-trained. She takes cues from other dogs, which has helped her gain confidence. While she is exploring more on her own, other dogs continue to be a source of comfort for her.
