Meet Angus, a big, goofy puppy who's going to grow into a very large dog! If you're looking for a canine companion to remind you to play more and work less, Angus might be the perfect fit for your family!
Angus was found wandering near a local creek with his sire, Gloria, and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. He's since been vetted and is now ready to find his forever home. Angus is a neutered male Bullmastiff mix puppy, around 6 months old and already weighing over 60 pounds. He's still learning the ropes of leash walking and can be a bit chaotic, but he's eager to please and full of puppy energy! He enjoys playing with other dogs, though his size can sometimes be a little overwhelming for them. Angus is not a good fit for homes with cats. He would do best in an active household with older children. He is doggie door trained, but his house-training is still a work in progress. Angus loves to ride in vehicles, but he needs to be properly restrained due to his size and exuberance.

Angus would thrive in an active household with older children and a securely fenced yard. He is too much for cats.
Ongoing Health
Angus is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies and bordatella. He is heartworm negative and microchipped. He is on preventatives for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other parasites.
Training & Support
Angus is still learning to walk on a leash and can be a bit chaotic. He is also working on his house-training. As a big puppy, he enjoys chewing, so providing appropriate chew toys is recommended.
