Kielah (Courtsey Post)

Kielah is a beautiful, sweet, and respectful 7-year-old Siberian Husky who, despite her age, still has plenty of energy. She weighs around 35-40 lbs and has a history of living successfully with both small and large dogs, though she does like to be the boss. She's also been great with children 10 and older, and even cats! Kielah came to us when her owner sadly passed away. One of our fosters lovingly took her in, fundraised for her necessary medical care, including a spay and mass removal. We're happy to report that the mass was cancerous, but the vet was able to achieve clean margins, meaning Kielah is cancer-free!

Ideal Home

Kielah would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A canine friend or two would be a wonderful addition to her life. She does experience some separation anxiety, which is understandable given her recent loss, but she has shown significant improvement while in her foster home.

Ongoing Health

Kielah is cancer-free after a mass removal with clean margins. She has also been spayed.

Training & Support

Kielah has some separation anxiety, but it is improving with time and consistent care. Patience and understanding as she continues to adjust will be key to her success.
