CHIANTI - calm & sweet!

Meet Chianti! She's a sweet and calm puppy from our "wine" litter, ready to bring joy to your home. At 3.5 months old and weighing 9 lbs as of May 13, 2026, she's a petite pup, estimated to reach around 30 lbs when fully grown. Chianti enjoys eye contact and cherishes human connection. While more adventurous than her brother, Barolo, she's still a wonderfully calm companion who appreciates the company of other dogs, making her an ideal playmate for a pup looking for a friend. She's also been remarkably quiet, which is a bonus for those seeking a peaceful home. Chianti and her siblings are content with leisurely days filled with play and relaxation, often found enjoying a cozy bed. Given her age and gentle nature, she is likely to get along well with cats and children. Chianti was found abandoned with her siblings and rescued by a kind Samaritan. She and her brother Barolo are the lucky ones who are now looking for their forever families.

Transporation

Chianti is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will fly to her forever home once adopted. She can be transported to various airports along the East Coast, including JFK/EWR/BLD/BWI/DCA/IAD, and is open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. We can arrange in-cabin flights with a flight volunteer to the mainland U.S.
