About Gideon
Hi, my name is Gideon, but my foster parents affectionately call me Deon! I made my way to the Save-A-Bull family all the way from New Mexico. My journey here was a bit overwhelming, and I was quite shy and nervous at first. However, with the patience and love of my foster family, including my canine sibling, I quickly warmed up and now I absolutely adore playtime! I love to chew on bones and then nap soundly on the couch. I'm not bothered by the snow at all and I'm picking up potty training quickly. My foster parents are smitten with my adorable quirks, calling me one of the cutest and most dorky pups they've ever met! They find so much joy in watching me trot on our walks, giggling at my silliness and snapping goofy photos. I have a great deal of energy and have even joined my fosters on a few jogs – I love to run and feel like I could go on forever! Of course, after all that excitement, I'm ready to crash and cuddle on the couch. My fosters often comment on how well-mannered and easygoing I am, noting that I don't chew on things I shouldn't and rarely make a sound. I'm also progressing well with crate training, especially after I've had ample opportunity to run and play. I'm a curious soul with a delightfully wiggly body; my attention flits around rapidly, and I get incredibly excited for treats! While I'll need some patience with training, I'm very eager to spend quality time learning, as food and dedicated attention are huge motivators for me. I'm so ready to continue learning and become the best dog I can be. I can still be a little shy around new people and haven't met many children yet, but I'm confident that with patience and practice, I'll blossom into a social butterfly! Every night, I sleep soundly right in the middle of my foster parents' bed, not stirring until they rouse me for our morning potty break. I truly love cuddling in bed with them, rolling around, stretching, and offering little kisses. A few cats reside in my foster home, and I do wish they would engage in play with me! Sometimes I get a tad overexcited with them, but I redirect very well. Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who wants to play with me, shower me with love and patience, and be my devoted best friend and companion. Having a canine sibling to show me the ropes and help me feel secure in new environments would be wonderful. I know I'll be a loyal and fun addition to your family, and I can't wait to meet you!
Ideal Home
I would love a home that wants to play with me, show me love and patience, and can be my best friend/companion day in and day out. A doggy sibling would be nice to show me the ropes and help me feel comfortable in new environments. I still get a little shy around new people and haven't met many kids, but I know with patience and practice I will be a social butterfly!

Training & Support
I'm getting the hang of potty training pretty fast. I'm also doing pretty well with crate training, especially if I've had time to run and play beforehand. I need some patience with training, but am eager to spend quality time learning food and dedicated attention will motivate me big time! I still get a little shy around new people and haven't met many kids, but I know with patience and practice I will be a social butterfly! Sometimes I get a little too excited with the cats but redirect really well.
