Polly

Polly is an extraordinary young lady at a petite 18 lbs with a heart as big as her playful spirit! She's a true friend, offering unwavering loyalty and a curious, gentle nature. Polly is a smart and affectionate soul who will keep you on your toes with her funny antics and dignified demeanor. Her unique blend of sweetness and silliness will bring joy to your life, and she will approach each day with a sense of wonder and fun. Polly is ready to explore the world with you and make new memories. She loves toys and plays fetch, and when she gets the zoomies, she's like the Tasmanian Devil! She enjoys and seeks out the company of people, and loves being petted and held.

Ideal Home

Polly enjoys the company of other dogs and seems to understand their social cues. She is an excellent dog for sleeping on the human bed. Because she is a food snatcher, we will not adopt to families with young children.

Ongoing Health

Polly is vaccinated, will be microchipped, and will be spayed on July 29th. She will be ready to start her new life shortly after.

Training & Support

Polly is still working on her house training, making it outside about 70% of the time. She does enjoy sneak-pooping on the rug, but shows a tremendous amount of guilt and regret when asked about it. Leash training is a work in progress, as she is not yet familiar with it. She is extremely food motivated and will snatch food from other dogs' mouths and from your hands or plate. She eats separately from other dogs because she wants to eat all the food! No resource guarding has been observed. She rarely barks.
