Sadie

Meet Sadie! This lovely 8-year-old, 70-pound American Bulldog is a social butterfly with a heart of gold. Sadie came to us from a loving home and is already a pro at house training, crate training, and knows her basic commands. She's also lived harmoniously with cats in the past, making her a potentially great addition to a multi-pet household. Sadie is a true cuddle bug who will undoubtedly steal your heart and maybe a spot on the couch! She had a wonderful time in a foster home, where she was showered with love and reminded of how much she belongs in a forever family.

Ideal Home

Sadie would love a home where she can share her companionship and affection. She has lived with cats before and is house and crate trained. If you have another dog or children, please bring them for a meet and greet to ensure a good fit. Renters will need to provide a copy of their lease agreement.

Ongoing Health

Sadie is currently on medication for skin allergies. Her new family will need to be able to continue this care and maintain an established relationship with a veterinarian. All our dogs receive vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, deworming, microchipping, and are spayed or neutered. Dogs over 7 months are also heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Sadie knows basic commands and is house and crate trained. She is a social and sweet girl who thrives on companionship.

• No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting the shelter.
• If you have another dog and/or children, please bring them for a meet and greet.
• Renters, please bring a copy of your lease agreement.

Sadie is located at the Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria, OH. Please inquire about transportation options if needed.
