Brooke is a sweet, reserved adult female mixed breed pup who is currently settling into her foster home. She is a gentle soul who is overcoming some transitional anxiety. Brooke is fully potty trained with zero accidents and loves her crate, which she willingly uses as her preferred safe space to decompress. While she hasn't been around children or men yet, she is highly affectionate and actively seeks out human touch. As long as people are respectful of her boundaries, she should do wonderfully. She is incredibly tolerant of other dogs, preferring a peaceful coexistence rather than active play. Brooke currently has no interest in toys or treats while she adjusts to her new life. The outdoors and walking on a leash are still brand new concepts to her, so she can get a bit distressed outside and is usually eager to head back indoors. She still tends to pace a bit as she navigates her new environment, but her foster is highly confident that with a patient family and a little extra time, she will truly blossom.
Ideal Home
A patient family who can provide her with extra time and understanding as she continues to adjust. She has not yet been around children or men, and her foster prefers her to go to a home without them initially. She prefers a peaceful coexistence with other dogs.

Brooke is spayed and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Brooke is fully potty trained and crate trained. She is still adjusting to outdoor environments and leash walking, which can cause her some distress. She also tends to pace as she navigates her new surroundings. With continued patience and positive reinforcement, she will likely blossom and overcome these anxieties.
