He considers those things peasant food. He has gourmet standards and politely declines anything that isn’t meaty! This gorgeous boy floats through life like he’s gliding across a marble palace floor. He’s calm, quiet (yes, a quiet husky), and carries himself with the kind of refined dignity that makes you wonder if he was raised in a castle. Simba came in as a stray, but he clearly had a past life of luxury. He knows sit, come, shake, respects house boundaries, crates like a gentleman, and has shown zero destructiveness. He appears house-broken, car-perfect, bath-perfect, blow-dryer-perfect, and loves being brushed — which is great, because that coat is basically a full-time job. He’s sweet, gentle, not licky, not drooly, not jumpy, not clingy. He’ll play fetch for a few minutes, then politely excuse himself like, “That was lovely, thank you, I’m done now.” And fireworks? Simba heard a full explosive show while walking outside and responded with the emotional intensity of someone listening to distant elevator music. Not scared. Not reactive. Not impressed. Royal composure: 10/10. He enjoys walks, does beautifully on a leash, and is very interested in other dogs — but he’s currently recovering from kennel cough, so there have been no dog interactions, yet. If you want a dog who is breathtakingly beautiful, impeccably mannered, and fluffy enough to be mistaken for a luxury throw blanket, Simba is your guy. Just be ready for daily brushing and a meat-forward menu fit for a prince.
