Lucrecia

Meet Lucrecia, a delightful 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighs approximately 33 lbs and stands about 22 inches tall. Lucrecia was found as a stray, in heat, and struggling to gain the trust of those around her. She also had an injured front paw, which has since been treated and healed without issue. Despite her rough start, Lucrecia is incredibly intelligent, affectionate, playful, and energetic. She loves playing with her foster siblings and has blossomed in a safe and loving environment. Lucrecia is ready to find her forever home where she can continue to thrive!

Ideal Home

Lucrecia would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, owned by a family who enjoys outdoor activities and has experience with the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. A family with an open mind about the needs and behaviors of rescued street animals, along with experience in dog behavior and training, would be ideal. Patience and understanding for a rescued pup are a must.

Ongoing Health

Lucrecia has been spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested for 4DX and heartworm (negative). She is up-to-date on her monthly Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, heartworm) preventative. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Lucrecia is not house-trained. She is intelligent and eager to please, but will require consistent guidance and patience to help her learn and adjust to a home environment.

Transportation

Lucrecia is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast of the United States. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
