Willy

Meet Willy, a sweet boy who has waited far too long for his chance. Willy was found outside the shelter in March 2022, likely after being hit by a car. He arrived with a broken tail, fractured teeth, and multiple wounds, but even then, he greeted everyone with kindness. This gentle Lab mix has healed beautifully, but he does have lifelong urinary and bowel incontinence from his injuries. He doesn't know it happens; he just wants love. Willy has the biggest heart and the brightest spirit; he just needs someone who sees past his challenges and loves him for the incredible dog he is. He's waited years for a home. Maybe he's been waiting for you.

Ideal Home

Willy thrives on love and companionship. He enjoys toys, fetch, people, and other dogs. He is happy and social, and has never been kenneled at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Willy has lifelong urinary and bowel incontinence due to injuries sustained before his rescue.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt dogs to the US and Canada. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. During the summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable.
