Scar OS

Scar is a handsome, young, 90+ lb dog with a heart of gold who might just think he's a lap dog! He's a well-behaved housemate, already potty-trained, and can entertain himself for a few hours when you're away. Scar is a fantastic co-pilot on car rides, only barks when he has something to say, and is a super good boy who only chews his own toys. He's learned commands like "come," "sit," "down," "out," and "leash," and he knows his name! Scar is enthusiastic and gentle with adults, including strangers. He hasn't had many encounters with children yet, but he lives with a 6-year-old foster sister who he lets playfully push him around. We're not sure how he'd do with cats, but he appears to have a very low prey drive. His foster parents describe him as energetic, affectionate, outgoing, curious, and playful.

Ideal Home

Scar needs daily exercise and playtime, which could include walks, hikes, training sessions, or games of fetch. This will help him settle in nicely for the evening. While he's comfortable with most people and has shown gentleness with a younger foster sister, he may be under-socialized and potentially not suitable for small children.

Ongoing Health

Scar has been neutered.

Training & Support

Scar is eager to please and takes well to training. He may be under-socialized, could have some prey drive, separation anxiety, and/or leash reactivity.
