Macchiato

Macchiato came to us in May of 2022 from a hoarding situation after the owner passed away. He, his four littermates, and four seniors had been fending for themselves for months. Initially, Macchiato was genuinely feral and terrified of people. Through a lengthy and patient process of building trust and introducing him to human interaction, he made amazing strides. He learned to walk on a leash, became more social, and showed incredible bravery. After a successful foster period, where he even got along with the resident cat, Macchiato truly blossomed. He is now an incredibly solid dog, unfazed by most things, and absolutely loves being petted, often leaning in for tummy rubs. He's a testament to what a dog can achieve with love and dedication! He's still young, only two years old, and is looking for a family to cherish his beauty, personality, and zest for life.

Ideal Home

Because Macchiato is a flight risk, he cannot be left unattended in a yard. He needs a home that understands the importance of keeping a close eye on him around open doors and windows. NO off-leash activities in unfenced areas are permitted for his lifetime.

Ongoing Health

Macchiato has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Crate training is a must for when you are gone. A tight grip on the leash is essential during adventures. Macchiato's new family must be aware of open doors and windows due to his flight risk. We are here to help you and Macchiato navigate any transition challenges to ensure his continued success.
