Kamryn (Obedience Trained)

Kamryn is a 3-year-old, 60lb Coonhound mix who has been through our Puppies for Parole obedience program! She's a house-trained, affectionate, playful, and quiet dog who loves to cuddle and enjoys a good pup cup. Kamryn knows basic obedience commands like sit, stay, down, come, and even twirl! She enjoys chasing toys, playing fetch, and is a true lap lover. She's also crate-trained and enjoys rides in the car.

Ideal Home

Kamryn is looking for a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She would do best in a home with calmer female dogs, as she can be a bit overwhelmed by high energy. She is not a good fit for homes with cats. Due to an accident with an electric fence, Kamryn can be reactive around men, children, and strangers, so a patient and understanding environment is key.

Ongoing Health

Kamryn is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative.

Training & Support

Kamryn has received basic obedience training, but she can be fearful, dig, chew, and exhibit separation anxiety. She also tends to jump on people and is an escape artist. Her reactivity around men, children, and unfamiliar individuals is something to be aware of and manage with positive reinforcement. She does dig and can break leashes if tied out, so tie-outs should be avoided.
