Scout "Scoutie Pie"

Meet Scout, affectionately known as "Scoutie Pie"! This 45 lb. German Shepherd Dog mix, with an estimated birthday of April 13, 2025, is a bundle of adorable floppy-eared charm. Scout can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, his love is truly unconditional. He has a playful spirit and enjoys zooming around with his foster siblings, both the human and canine kind. When it's time to relax, Scout is a champion cuddler, perfectly content to snuggle up on the couch. He was rescued from a city shelter where he faced euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a healthy and happy puppy. Now, Scout is eagerly awaiting his chance to find his forever family.

Scout is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. He has proven to be great with kids and other dogs, so a home with a canine sibling and a family would be wonderful!

Scout is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to various locations, including nearby towns and states. For those adopting out of state, ground transport services are available weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You'll be able to track your pup's journey via the Life360 app and receive updates.
