Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is a sweet, 8-year-old, 79-pound girl who is deaf and incredibly affectionate. She was adopted five years ago and adored her person, but after his passing, she returned to rescue. Lily forms very deep bonds with her people and loves to be close, often following her person everywhere and sleeping pressed against them. When she feels safe and happy, she has the most heartwarming smile. Lily is not destructive and is house-broken.

Ideal Home

Lily needs to be the only pet in the home. A quieter environment would be ideal, perhaps with someone who works from home or is retired, who can provide Lily with the companionship and stability she craves.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf. As part of our Forever Foster Program, all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care will be covered by the rescue for the rest of her life.

Training & Support

Lily experiences separation anxiety, which can manifest as barking when she feels worried, stressed, or uncertain. However, a trusted trainer has assessed these issues as "fixable" with commitment, consistency, structure, and support. The rescue will cover the cost of direct guidance and support from this trainer to help Lily's adopter manage her anxiety and build her confidence.
