About Jack

Jack is an 11-year-old husky mix with a truly heartwarming story. He was adopted from a shelter as a puppy and, a decade later, found himself back there, sadly abandoned by his family. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in to give him a second chance. Initially, Jack was a bit reserved without his bonded companion, Tina, but it wasn't long before his wonderfully affectionate and goofy personality started to shine through. He loves to press his whole body against you and will happily snuggle for as long as you'll let him. True to his husky heritage, Jack is a talker and will entertain you with his happy grumbles and vocalizations. He's an easygoing, gentle soul who enjoys walks, relaxing at home, and being close to his people. Jack is fully potty, crate, and leash trained, gets along well with other dogs, and adores children. He’s not a fit for a home with cats, as he tends to see them as playthings. This once shy boy now eagerly anticipates his walks and is ready for any adventure!

Ideal Home

Jack would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and receive plenty of affection. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Jack experienced some hair loss along his back upon arrival, which improved with medication. He has also undergone slow-kill treatment. He is up to date on vaccinations and prevention, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Jack is fully potty, crate, and leash trained. He gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a bit quirky and vocal during play. He adores children.
