Leo

Leo is a solid, 71-pound boy who is about 5 years old and ready to take his place in a loving home. He craves attention, hugs, and someone who will take time to play with him. Leo is friendly to people and most other dogs, but may be too interested in cats for their comfort. We don't know how happy the first five years of Leo's life have been, but we are all hoping that he'll move forward to a happy, loving home for the rest of his days.

Ideal Home

Leo will thrive in a home with a yard and space to play, to explore, and to put his energy to good use. He would need a family without small children, as his strong enthusiasm for play may be a little overwhelming.

Ongoing Health

Leo's adoption fee covers his mandatory spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, dewormer, and first round of flea and tick preventatives.

Transportation

Leo is located at the Powell County Animal Shelter, 121 Echo Hollow Road, Clay City, KY. We can arrange to meet you at the shelter during or after open hours at a time that works for you. Shelter hours are 9 AM - 3 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 10 AM - 12 PM on Saturday. It is always best to make an appointment by calling or texting 859-420-0175.
