This is Astro, a handsome 2-year-old, 25lb Heeler and Chi mix! Astro was found all by himself in a rough part of Texas. Thankfully, a Kind Spirits volunteer came to his rescue and took him into her foster home where he's been living harmoniously with many other dogs. Now that he's fully vetted and we know more about his wonderful personality, Astro is ready to find his forever family!

Astro is a really well-behaved pup. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained. He also walks nicely on a leash and is eager to please his humans. He's motivated by food, toys, and treats, and enjoys quiet cuddles. Astro truly wants to be your number one companion!

Ideal Home

Astro can be a bit of a "little man" with a Napoleon complex, which fits his mix perfectly! He may occasionally nip at male dogs when he's competing for treats or attention. He's currently living with 10 other dogs, so he's used to a busy household!

Training & Support

Astro is house-trained, crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained. He is highly motivated by food, toys, and treats, which can be a great asset in further training. Be mindful of his tendency to nip at male dogs when competing for attention or treats.

Transporation

Astro is currently located in New Jersey. Out-of-state adopters are welcome, and private transport can be arranged for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
