Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is as sweet as she is playful. She's growing into herself and her confident personality is starting to shine. Nona is a joy to be around, with her happy wiggles and enthusiastic greetings. She loves to play, zoom around the yard, and is always eager to be near her people. Despite her short stature, she's a fast runner and loves to keep up with her foster siblings. Nona is incredibly clever and enjoys puzzles and learning new things. She's motivated by toys and treats, making training a fun and rewarding experience. She has mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. Nona is also a shy watchdog, alerting her family to anything unfamiliar.
Ideal Home
Nona would do well in a home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would also thrive with a confident canine companion who is respectful of personal space and happy to share the spotlight, or she would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only.

Training & Support
Nona is crate trained and doing great with her potty training. She is continuing to work on her leash manners and needs a family willing to reinforce her training routines.

- Our process begins with an application. If we believe it may be a good match, we will reach out to schedule a phone interview, followed by a video call with the foster home.
- A virtual home visit, along with personal and veterinary reference checks, are required to complete the adoption process.

- We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to help these dogs find homes. If you are not serious about moving forward with the adoption process, please do not apply.

Transporation
Nona is currently located in Texas and can be transported out of state when matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation and runs every few weeks.
