Shelby is a happy, goofy, and affectionate 6-month-old Shepherd/Hound/Terrier mix puppy who is spayed and currently weighs 39 pounds. She's expected to be a large dog when fully grown, with a distinctive long body type. Shelby and her sister and mom were rescued from a shelter in San Antonio, Texas, and have thrived in foster care. She's a curious, playful, and smart pup who loves to learn and is deeply connected to her people. Her affectionate nature and goofy smile make her an absolute delight.

Training & Support
Shelby is still learning house training but has made significant progress and is expected to master it quickly with consistency. Shelby has shown mild growling only with her sister, which appears to be puppy competition for attention rather than true resource guarding. She is still a puppy and needs continued basic training, though she has already learned to sit and walks nicely on a harness. She would likely enjoy scent-based activities or classes.

Transportation
Shelby is currently in a foster home in Washougal, Washington, and is available for meet and greets. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved. Transport to your location is included in the adoption donation.
