A little while ago, life wasn't very kind to me. My fur got messy, my eyes got cloudy, my world got smaller. Somewhere along the way, I became the dog people passed by without a second glance. But here's the thing about me, I never gave up. Every day, I kept wagging, I kept trusting. I kept believing that somewhere out there was a person who would see past my age, my scruffy coat, my wild ears, and my imperfect eyes – and notice my big heart underneath. Now I'm writing the next chapter of my story. I may not be the youngest dog in the room, but I know how to appreciate a warm bed, a gentle hand, and a quiet afternoon beside someone I love. I don't need much, just kindness, patience, and a family to call my own. Could that be you? Second chances can be beautiful. Adopt the underdog. Pappy would likely do well in a home with other dogs, as he gets along great with them.

Pappy is currently fully vetted. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all shots. He is being treated for temporary conditions.

Pappy is crate trained.
