About Cheryl

Meet Cheryl, a sweet and shy Lab-looking girl who is a true hidden gem waiting to shine. She reminds us of Lizzie and Maggie with her soft eyes and gentle presence. While she might not approach you right away, her quiet warmth is just waiting to come out with a little patience and love. Cheryl is currently very timid, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people, which can make her nervous. She often shows this by tucking her tail tightly and keeping her distance. She's not aggressive, just unsure, and prefers to avoid direct interaction at first.

However, with a few minutes and a calm, gentle approach, Cheryl will slowly start to come out of her shell. You might see her cautiously sniff you from behind, a sign of her curiosity as she figures things out. She tolerates gentle petting, even if she freezes initially, and with quiet encouragement, she begins to relax and open up. Within minutes, you'll start to see glimpses of the sweet, sensitive dog she truly is. Cheryl isn't just looking for a home; she's looking for someone to believe in her. With time, consistency, and lots of love, she'll blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Cheryl would thrive in a quiet home with a big heart, where she can receive the patience, reassurance, and confidence-building she needs to blossom.
