Meet Sunny! This handsome 9-year-old, 70lb neutered pittie mix is a bundle of joy and a true testament to his name. Sunny has a huge heart and an infectious enthusiasm for life, always eager to share his love through kisses and playful antics. He's been living with a professional trainer and boasts an excellent foundation in obedience, knowing commands like sit, down, stay, and place. He's also fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling nicely in his kennel for 6-8 hours at night. Sunny is highly food-motivated, making him a eager student for any continued training.
Ideal Home
Sunny has a moderate energy level and would thrive in an active home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and including him in family activities. While he walks well on a leash, he can get excited by other dogs and may pull or lunge. With calm guidance and redirection, he quickly refocuses. He enjoys energetic play with medium to large dogs but needs slow, proper introductions and guidance, as he can be overly enthusiastic. He would do well with a balanced, tolerant dog, or he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only companion. Sunny loves meeting new people and can get a bit mouthy when excited, so he'd do best with older, dog-savvy children (10+) who can help reinforce good manners and respect his boundaries.
