Misty

Meet Misty! This lovely 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is a bit on the quiet and shy side, but once she warms up to you, she's full of sweetness. She's a polite companion who coexists well with cats and makes friends with other dogs without any fuss. She would likely do best with children who are past their energetic, younger years.

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home includes a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She'll thrive with a family who understands that quiet dogs can be the most wonderful companions. Patience, kindness, and a little time will help her truly bloom. A comfy sofa to relax on would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this sounds concerning, it simply means she cannot use a collar with a leash. She will need to use a chest-type harness for her safety and comfort throughout her life. Aside from an occasional cough if the harness isn't fitted correctly, this condition is not a significant issue.

Training & Support

Misty is described as a gentle companion who won't cause neighborhood drama or knock over furniture. With kindness and patience, she will settle in and become a cherished member of the family.
