Walter is a German Shepherd Mix with a perfectly sized, handsome blend. He's got that sturdy, athletic build that makes him easy to take anywhere but substantial enough for a good cuddle. He's the ideal medium size – big enough to keep up on walks, but compact enough to not take up the entire sofa. His heart is 100% purely love.
Ideal Home
Walter is looking for a feline-free sanctuary. He'd much rather spend his time focusing all his love and attention on his humans and his canine pals! He would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who enjoys a little playtime but also appreciates a good afternoon nap. Whether you have a big backyard or a cozy city apartment, this guy will fit right in. He's just as happy strolling through the neighborhood as he is lounging on a rug.

Training & Support
Walter is already crate trained and potty trained, making the transition into your home a total breeze. He has been a perfect gentleman in his crate, even when there's a lot of action going on around him. He's a dream in the car and ready to be your co-pilot for any weekend errands or coffee runs. He is fantastic at reading other dogs' body language and knows how to stand his ground with a polite "please give me space" when things get too rowdy.

- The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).

Transporation
Walter is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
