Anastasia (in E. Tennessee)

By royal decree, we introduce Princess Anastasia! She is a beautiful, spritely, charming, young, smart, and wonderfully floofy girl.

Anastasia’s story is one of mystery and survival, much like her namesake. She was found as a stray and, despite her many wonderful qualities, her whereabouts remained a mystery to potential adopters. We’re so glad she’s here with us today in Greeneville, Tennessee, ready to find her forever kingdom.

She is affectionate and playful, though she can be a little shy and jumpy initially. Anastasia is also pretty smart! Her diminutive size, around 29 pounds, makes her a potentially great lap dog, assuming she's in the mood for such royal comforts. She has a regal demeanor, and we believe she might be a Keeshond mix.

Ideal Home

Anastasia would likely do best in a home where she can receive gentle introductions and build trust. While she can get along with some other dogs, she requires constant monitoring to ensure harmonious interactions. She plays adorably well with smaller dogs and gets along great with male dogs. However, larger female dogs might be a bit iffy, and she may need to be the only dog in the household to avoid potential conflicts.

Ongoing Health

Anastasia will be spayed, vaccinated, and her heartworm status will be revealed soon.

Training & Support

Anastasia is housebroken and is making progress with crate training and leash work. Due to her initial shyness and jumpiness, she would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a patient approach.

Transporation

Anastasia is currently fostered in Greeneville, TN. We can arrange transportation to Florida for a committed foster or a foster-to-adopt placement.
