Melody is a 9-month-old, 18 lb Dachshund/Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Found as a stray, she spent her early months alone, without much human contact, searching for food and shelter. Because of this, she may be a bit timid at first, but don’t let that fool you—once she trusts you, Melody is an affectionate, playful, and loving pup. She enjoys the company of both humans and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a family or an individual looking for a playful and affectionate companion.

Melody needs a patient and caring home where she can thrive as a pup and grow to be the happiest dog ever!

Melody has been vaccinated, spayed, and is on monthly preventives, so she’s all set for her forever home.
