Meet Miss Romy Roo! This adorable girl will steal your heart! She has a big heart and an even bigger personality! When she's let out of her kennel, she turns into a bouncy ball, so excited that she jumps up and down, and she loves when you catch her mid-air! She loves her person and will follow you around everywhere. She also absolutely loves to play, and having a toy that she can walk around and hold in her mouth is her favorite kind. She is also a very good snuggle bug! Curled up on the couch watching the newest episode of your favorite show would be a perfect break from an afternoon of playing! She did learn a bad trait from Ariel, though; she learned how to climb over baby gates or yard gates, but this only happened when she was with Ariel. Don’t let that one thing deter you because she is an amazing girl and will make a really great bestie!

Ideal Home

Romy would love a home where she has another dog or older kid to play with, as younger kids can be scary for her.

Ongoing Health

Romy has had all vetting completed, including distemper/parvo, Bordetella, and rabies vaccines, spay or neuter surgery, a dental cleaning, heartworm test, a 6-month heartworm prevention vaccine, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Romy is very smart and eager to please. She knows how to use the doggie door and kennels up when she's supposed to. She has learned to climb over baby gates or yard gates, but this has only occurred when she was with another dog.

Transporation

The rescue is located in Leavenworth, KS. In-person home visits are required, and the general rule is that you must be within an hour of the rescue.
