Jordy

Jordy is a handsome 2.5-year-old, 60-pound German Shorthaired Pointer/Pittie mix with a heart full of love to give! He's a happy and friendly boy who enjoys a good game of fetch and loves to snuggle up for naps after playtime. Jordy is house trained and kennel trained, and has also shown he can be trusted un-kenneled when his humans are away. He's very food-motivated, making him eager to please, and would make a wonderful walking buddy once he perfects his leash manners. He does tend to eat quickly, so a slow feeder bowl is recommended.

Ideal Home

Jordy would do best in a home without larger dogs, but he's great with small dogs. He has also done well with cats that are accustomed to living with dogs. He'd likely be a fantastic companion for older children (13+) who can help him burn off some of his energy. A fenced yard, preferably with a 6 ft privacy fence, would be ideal for this energetic pup.

Ongoing Health

Jordy is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He does not have any special needs or require any medications.

Training & Support

Jordy is working on his leash manners and could benefit from continued positive reinforcement. As with any new environment, we recommend starting him in a kennel until he and his new family get into a routine. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.
