Mavis

Mavis is a sweet, gentle girl who was born around February 2024. She found herself needing a new start after her owner was evicted from her home. Despite the changes, Mavis has remained friendly and loves attention, shining with a soft, sweet personality once she settles in. She's still learning about the world and can be a bit reserved with unfamiliar dogs. This means she could be a wonderful only dog, or she might do well with another dog if introductions are slow and guided by someone experienced. Mavis has learned to walk on a leash and use a crate, and she's doing great with both! She just needs a calm environment and a little patience to help her feel secure and blossom into the loyal, loving companion she's meant to be. If you appreciate a bond that grows deeper with time and are looking for a loyal friend, Mavis might be the perfect match for you.

Ideal Home

Mavis would thrive in a calm environment where she can feel secure. She could do very well as an only dog, or with another dog if introductions are handled slowly and thoughtfully by an experienced individual. All dogs and puppies require visible fencing.

Ongoing Health

Mavis's adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Mavis is learning to walk on a leash and use a crate, and she's doing well with both. She may need patience and a calm environment to help her adjust to new situations.

Transportation

Mavis is currently in Texas. Weekly transports are available to the Northeast, and transport to the Northwest, Midwest, and Southeast regions is also available for an additional fee.
