Maximus is a handsome 14-month-old Lab mix who weighs around 66 pounds. He's a smart, brave, and loyal companion who is always up for an adventure! Maximus was surrendered to us after an unfortunate incident where he was attacked by another dog, leading to medical bills his former owners couldn't cover. Despite this, Max showed incredible courage and heart throughout his recovery. Now that he's fully healed, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, he's eagerly awaiting his chance to join a loving forever family. Maximus enjoys playing with other dogs, both male and female, and is a social, playful pup. He forms deep bonds with his people and is discovering the simple joys of being a happy dog, especially with his toys. Maximus is looking for love, safety, and a human to stand by his side. He'll be your loyal sidekick, enthusiastic hiking partner, dedicated couch protector, and best friend.

Transporation
Maximus is an "out of town pet" located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available to bring him closer to you. Once approved, dogs are scheduled on transport via air-conditioned vans. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's journey and will be given an exact location and estimated time of arrival. Drivers provide updates on any delays or early arrivals. Dogs are crated during transport and stop for necessary breaks.
