Meet Grace! This bubbly and sweet young girl is ready for a new leash on life after a very rough start. She was rescued as a stray after raising her babies under a fallen tree in the Texas summer heat. Thankfully, a kind street dog feeder found Grace and her pups and brought them to safety. It didn't take long for Grace to make friends with everyone at the rescue, both two-legged and four-legged. She loves her squeaky toys, cuddling with her pup friends, and getting her zoomies out in the courtyard!
Although she has the look of a Vizsla/Staffy/Bully mix, Grace has strong herding tendencies. She thrives when she's close to her people and prefers to be part of a group. She'll shower everyone nearby with affection, but she'll "herd" anyone who tries to wander off. Grace would do best in a home with people who have experience with herding breeds.

Transporation
Grace is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
