Penny, a Soft, Sweet, Snuggling Girl!!

Penny is a confident, 6-year-old, 63 lb pit mix who is the sweetest, softest, and most loving dog you'll ever meet! She adores all humans and has never met a stranger. Penny loves to snuggle with her foster mom and enjoys playing fetch, going for car rides, and cuddling on the sofa. She's a smart girl who knows basic commands, has excellent recall, and is very loyal and obedient, always aiming to please her person. Penny is comfortable in her crate and even enjoys visiting the vet, which she sees as a social event! She's easy to handle, allowing nail trims and ear cleanings without issue, though she doesn't necessarily love them. In the house, Penny is quiet and calm, and she loves her yard time, whether for playing fetch or simply sunbathing. She was a shelter favorite and even featured on a firefighter's calendar!

Ideal Home

Penny would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog, receiving all the attention and love she deserves. Due to her size, she would do best with children aged 10 and above.
