Bella

Bella is a sweet senior girl who is ready to live out her remaining years with lots of love and relaxation. She enjoys lounging around the house and spending time with her people. Bella has a unique way of communicating her desires, often "talking" to let you know when she's hoping for a treat or maybe even a bit of French fries!

Bella would thrive in a calm and predictable environment where she can receive consistent care and attention.

Ongoing Health

Bella was diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age and currently takes two different medications twice a day, at 7 am and 7 pm. It is crucial that she receives her medication on time to minimize the risk of seizures. As she ages, her seizures may become more frequent, potentially requiring adjustments to her medication dosage and frequency. During a seizure, which typically lasts about 30 seconds, Bella may lose bladder or bowel control and can take up to an hour to fully recover her mobility and cognition. She benefits greatly from comfort and a peaceful atmosphere during and after these episodes. Currently, she experiences seizure activity every couple of days.

Training & Support

Bella requires diligent monitoring and consistent administration of her medications to manage her epilepsy. Her new family will need to be dedicated to her ongoing health needs.

• All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older), and microchipped.
• A senior's adoption donation is $100.
• There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards.

Transporation

Bella is located at our facility. We do not ship or transport pets.
