Elle, a 5-year-old, 12-pound mini Aussie, is a spirited and independent thinker with a heart full of love for her people and a passion for playing fetch. Her previous owner traveled all the way to Kansas to bring her home, and now, after his passing, Elle is searching for a new companion who understands and cherishes the unique spirit of this intelligent breed. She's a compact bundle of working-dog energy, ready to be your loyal shadow, but on her own terms. Elle enjoys being touched, but prefers it when it's her idea, much like a feline friend, she can change her mind in an instant!

Ideal Home

Elle would thrive in a home with an adult-only household, as she has a bite history and is not suited for homes with children. A securely fenced yard is a must, as her absolute favorite activity is chasing frisbees with all her might! Due to her strong prey drive, she should not be placed in a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Elle is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.

Training & Support

Elle is well-house trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She shows no reactivity to other dogs during walks. In her foster home, she's shown a preference for being the only dog, as other pets can sometimes interfere with her frisbee games or compete for treats. She enjoys chasing squirrels and birds, which further underscores her suitability for a cat-free environment.
