Lady Bird

Ladybird is a sweet and gentle 3-year-old Beagle who came to us after participating in an animal drug research study. While research animals often adjust well to home life, she will need a patient and understanding adopter who can help her build trust. She can be timid and fearful of strangers, but this fear manifests as caution and avoidance, not aggression. Once she feels safe, her soft and loving nature shines through, making her a joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Ladybird would thrive in a calm and patient home where she can set her own pace for building trust.

Ongoing Health

Ladybird has been examined by our veterinary team and is cleared as healthy. She has received spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccinations, blood and fecal testing, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She will also receive a complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption.

Training & Support

We cannot guarantee if Ladybird is housebroken as we do not observe our animals in home settings. Her timidity means she will need encouragement and a gentle approach to help her adjust.

Application Details:

• Adopters must live within an hour of our facility.
• Adoption fees are flexible, please be generous to help other animals.

Transportation

Ladybird is located at our facility and can be transported to approved adopters.
