Baltos is a happy, adaptable Labrador Mix puppy with a playful spirit and a sweet heart. He is approximately 9 months old and currently weighs 20 lbs, with an expected adult weight of around 38 lbs. Baltos is social and gets along very well with other dogs, children, men, and women, making him a wonderful family companion. When first meeting new people, he can be a little cautious, but he warms up quickly with a wagging tail and a curious approach. Once comfortable, he loves attention and pets. Baltos is a well-rounded puppy who uses a crate, walks well on a leash, and signals when he needs to go outside to potty. He truly enjoys playing with his toys, entertaining himself with chewing and exploring. Baltos is friendly, playful, and eager to learn, making him an excellent choice for a family looking for a loving and fun companion to grow with. Baltos has received a comprehensive health protocol including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI Vaccines, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Microchip, 4DX Test and Certificate, Heartworm Negative Certificate, Monthly Preventive Protection (Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm), and a Health Certificate with a Vaccines booklet.
Training & Support
Baltos is not fully house-trained and requires patience and understanding as he adjusts to a new environment. He is intelligent and eager to learn, but his new family should be prepared to invest time in his training, potentially with the help of a professional trainer. It's important to remember that rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences, and patience is crucial to help build trust and strengthen the bond.

- Fill out our adoption form.
- Send photos/videos of your home to ensure your future furry friend will be safe. Home photos/videos are required for application processing.
- If it's a match, we'll connect via phone or video chat for an introduction and virtual home tour.
- We'll speak with 1–2 of your references.
- If approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transportation
Baltos is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel. Door-to-door delivery is available through scheduled trips, typically 3-4 times per year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. A partnered transport company will escort pets across the border into Texas for US adoptions, or to the nearest US-Canada border for Canadian adoptions. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers the cost from Mexico to your home. Real-time updates will be provided in a private Facebook Messenger group, and the transport team will conduct a final home review upon delivery.
